On the morning of June 27, our institute held the 2025 Graduation Ceremony for International Students in the conference room of the administrative building. The ceremony was attended by Professor Zhang Jianchu, President of the institute, and Professor Huang Xing, Assistant President and Director of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange, among others.

During the ceremony, Dante, a student from Barbados, delivered a speech on behalf of all graduating students. He reviewed his two years of study and life at our institute, shared his personal growth and achievements, expressed gratitude to the institution, faculty, and fellow students, and extended best wishes for the continued development and prosperity of our institute.

Faculty representative Ma Tiannan spoke highly of the international students’ outstanding performance in their academic studies. He encouraged the graduates to maintain their passion, learn to persevere, and cultivate patience, expressing hope that they would achieve even greater success in their future studies and careers.

President Zhang Jianchu made an address at the ceremony. President Zhang, on behalf of the institute, extended warm congratulations to the Class of 2025. He praised the international students for overcoming difficulties, demonstrating diligence in their studies, and achieving remarkable progress in both academic and language learning. He expressed hope that the students would apply the knowledge and skills acquired in China to their future work and studies, contributing to the development and progress of their respective countries. He also encouraged the graduates to serve as a bridge connecting China and Caribbean nations, and to act as friendly envoys promoting exchanges and cooperation between China and the Caribbean region.

To the accompaniment of light music and warm applause, President Zhang Jianchu presented the graduates with their diplomas, along with flowers and commemorative gifts, and posed for group photos with the international students.
